The Ingo Maurer Birdie lighting series

The Ingo Maurer Birdie lighting series was developed by Ingo Maurer in 1992. The Lucellino table lamp of the same name, the Lucellino NT ceiling lamp, the Lucellino W ceiling lamp and the Birds Birds Birds chandelier were created. The name of the lighting collection is a play on words: ‘Luce’ means light in Italian and ‘Luccellino’ means birdie. This is why the following lights are called Birdie and Birdies Nest. The latest creation is the Birdie’s Busch floor lamp, developed in 2010, which is reminiscent of a flock of soaring birds. These extraordinary lamps have handmade wings made from real goose feathers. The collection has given rise to beautiful and imaginative lamps that immediately attract attention in any setting. The Ingo Maurer Birdie lights set unmistakable lighting accents. The lovingly designed luminaires from Ingo Maurer reflect an enormous lightness and inspire dreams.
