The lamp Bohemia by Marset wins the iF Design Award

The Bohemia lamp by Marset was recently awarded the IF Design Award, an international prize for the excellence of its design. The IF Design Award comprises 9 disciplines with 78 categories. In the lighting category, the Marset Bohemia was selected by a jury of 98 design experts who appreciated and awarded its unique form and originality. The Marset Bohemia is a design characterised by its organic profile, which is not boring and translucent, combining two volumes within a single shape. The result is a large lampshade that looks like blown glass, but is not. A difficult task to solve, which the designer achieves by using rotationally moulded polycarbonate as the material. An eye-catching lamp, with an extraordinary light, designed to surprise the viewer. This award is presented by the IF International Forum Design, the oldest independent design organisation in the world. It is based in Hanover and is being held for the 67th time this year. The best products and design projects are awarded on an international level. In 2020, it received almost 10,000 entries from 3693 participants from 52 different nationalities.

The iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the most renowned design prizes in the world. It has been organised from Germany since 1953 and, with the iF label, offers a reliable sign of good design, both for consumers and for the design community. International design experts come together annually to select award-winning designs. The evaluation is based on strictly neutral jury standards.
