The Mona lighting collection from Czech manufacturer Brokis

The Mona lighting collection, designed by our artistic director Lucie Koldova in 2014. The light source boldly passes through the generous volume of the smooth, hand-blown glass, emphasising the tremulous tension inherent in the entire design. The essence of the collection lies primarily in its original design and combination of refined materials. The Brokis MONA family includes several different sizes and types of luminaires and is therefore suitable for a wide range of applications. Variability is ensured primarily by the size, design and colour options of the individual luminaire models. In line with constant technological and innovative development, the entire MONA collection has recently undergone an exceptional upgrade in the form of a special connector and anodised aluminium instead of the previous wooden parts. A new colour option for the hand-blown glass, brown smoke, is now available for the entire family. Mona S offers the option of a table and wall version. The Mona Medium collection includes floor, pendant and wall lamps, while the Brokis Mona L is available in a floor and pendant version. The dimensions of the Mona XL, which is manufactured as a pendant lamp, are truly large. No wonder the piece has earned the glassmakers much-deserved admiration.
