Lighting concept in Fine Fleur restaurant, Antwerp

Restaurant Fine Fleur is a 1 Michellin star fine dining restaurant in the heart of Antwerp, led by chefs Thomas Diepersloot and Jacob-Jan Boerma, serving French-inspired cuisine with fresh Asian influences. The restaurant opened its doors to the public in October 2021. Thanks to their passion, knowledge and experience, Thomas and Jacob-Jan manage to combine the best products with casual hospitality.

The look of Fine Fleur is sleek and modern. For this high-end project, interior designer Dennis T’Jampens turned to kreon to provide lighting for the restaurant. The beautiful concept with a sophisticated look was a perfect fit for kreon’s lighting solutions.

Since the two chefs have their own style in the kitchen, kreon, in consultation with architect Dennis ‘T Jampens, decided on a unique and non-mainstream lighting concept. The spotlights (kreon ato twin) are discreetly integrated into the beamed ceiling and provide atmospheric ambient lighting. The eye-catchers (kreon esprit ceiling) were individually painted in dark bronze, which fits better into the overall concept. In addition to the downlight spotlights, uplight floor spotlights (kreon up 80) accentuate the architecture, creating a nice dynamic in the room. kreon has thus delivered a completely customized concept.
