The new Caramel wall light collection from Marset
The new Marset ‘Caramel’ collection impresses with its special material aesthetics and looks like an illuminated sculpture. The new wall light, in which Joan Gaspar clearly used glass for decorative purposes, has a circular design that encloses the light. This design fully emphasises the aesthetics of this hard, shiny material. When switched on, the luminaire looks like a living object, while when switched off it creates a sculptural effect on the wall.
The Marset Caramel emits a diffuse, soft and warm light through reflection. The shade conceals the light source, giving the object volume and understated elegance. At the same time, it provides direct lighting on the wall. The translucent glass shade holds back some of the light emitted, is illuminated from the inside and thus makes the material visible.
Interesting lighting compositions can be created on the wall by combining or arranging the elements of this collection. A special accessory enables two or three lamps to be connected to a single power supply. Lamps of different sizes, monochrome colours or different surface treatments can be combined in a linear or atomic arrangement. Like a mural, these compositions create an artistic look and enhance any room with impressive, colourful lighting.
