The portable lamp Float by Axololight

Axolight’s ingenuity and designer Mario Alessiani’s creativity gave birth to Float, a multifunctional and portable lamp that can be used both indoors and outdoors, designed for various applications: Table, floor, suspension, wall. “The idea of Float comes from a romantic inspiration linked to the image of a candle burning on an old empty bottle on a restaurant table. A simple, strong and poetic symbol that brings us back to the world of restaurants and wineries.”

Ideal for domestic environments – from the living room to the garden – and for the world of gastronomy, both for its exceptional functional versatility and because the lamp body can be charged without the use of bases or support cables, allowing simultaneous charging of multiple lamps in confined spaces. Made of aluminium, the lamp body can be freely placed on any bottle (from small to large) thanks to a central hole that is closed at the top. Steel bases are also provided for the table and floor versions, 36 cm and 120 cm, while special cables are provided for the ceiling and wall versions. It is equipped with a soft-touch system for switching on and adjusting the luminous flux and has a rechargeable battery that can be used for about 9 hours, rechargeable via a USB cable and replaceable at the end of the cycle. The degree of protection against dust and water is IP 55, which also makes the lamp ideal for outdoor use. Available in 5 colours: white, black, blue, cement, mauve powder.
