Vistosi Groove, Plisse and Anisette at the Good Design and Red Dot Awards

Vistosi reports two Good Design Awards 2024 wins for Groove and Plissé. Anisette, Groove and Plissé have also been submitted to the jury of the Red Dot Design Award 2025.

Good Design Awards 2024 for Groove and Plissé

Two Vistosi collections received Good Design Awards 2024: Vistosi Groove, designed by Hangar Design Group, and Vistosi Plisse, created by Chiaramonte & Marin. Groove has clean lines and draws on 1960s design. Plissé combines blown glass with an internal fabric shade; its form is inspired by the movement of a jellyfish. The Red Dot Award 2025 nominations

Vistosi submitted Anisette, Groove and Plissé to the jury of the Red Dot Design Award 2025. The announcement concerns nominations; it does not announce a Red Dot win for these three collections. Vistosi received its first Red Dot in 2017 for the Sata collection.

What the Red Dot Design Award is

Founded in 1955, the Red Dot Design Award is organised by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen. It has three main categories: Product Design for physical products, Brand and Communication Design for identities and communication, and Design Concept for ideas that have not yet been realised.

Groove, Plissé and Anisette at a glance

Groove combines regular surfaces with softer details and metal finishes. Plissé places a fabric shade inside blown glass. Vistosi Anisette takes inspiration from a lantern: its two glass diffusers can be arranged in four configurations. Read more about its construction in our Anisette collection portrait. The Vistosi virtual museum and our story on Vistosi lamps in Spanish private residences offer further views of the collections.
