Vistosi Lucciola, Puppet, Peggy and Riflesso in Australian homes

Tags: Vistosi

Four Australian homes show Vistosi Lucciola, Puppet, Riflesso and Peggy in everyday settings: in the entrance and bathroom of a period house, above a dining table, beside a bed and in a kitchen.

The projects from the Vistosi newsletters of 6 and 20 February 2025 take us to Williamstown and three residential locations in Sydney. Our article on the virtual museum of Vistosi offers another way to explore the collections.

Folks House in Williamstown: Lucciola

The renovation of Folks House in Williamstown set out to bring light into a dark period home. IOA Studio worked within its heritage constraints to connect the existing architecture with the needs of a growing family. Linking the garden and interior spaces was central to the project. BFC Built carried out the work, while inDesign Company contributed interiors, styling and landscape design.

For the bathroom and entrance, inDesign Company selected Vistosi Lucciola. Its oval forms in satin-finish blown glass bring clean lines to these spaces. A choice of sizes and numerous installation combinations allow the collection to suit different settings.

Dover Heights Residence: Puppet

At Dover Heights Residence in Sydney, The Collected Co created a modern interior filled with light. The client wanted the atmosphere of an exclusive resort that would make the most of the seaside location. In the living area, a linear Vistosi Puppet suspension with six shaded white glass shades adds a restrained focal point.

The Puppet family includes pendant, wall and table lamps. For the pendant versions, glass spheres come in three sizes and can be arranged in a line, beneath a round ceiling rose or as a chandelier. In the chandelier configuration, steel cables secure the diffusers to the ceiling. Fabric electrical cables recall marionette strings and allow the arrangement to change.

The glass can be selected and combined in four finishes: shaded white, transparent crystal, transparent smoked and transparent amber. The frame options are polished chrome with a grey fabric cable or matt black with a black fabric cable. Dover Heights shows the effect of the white shades; our article on Oto, Peggy and Puppet in Spanish private residences presents further installations.

Apartment in Kirribilli: Riflesso

For an apartment in Kirribilli overlooking Sydney Harbour, Onefour Interiors chose two Vistosi Riflesso table lamps for the bedroom. Transparent hand-blown glass bodies with copper-plated metal parts stand beside the large bed. Their light glass forms complement an interior conceived as both modern and welcoming.

Riflesso is available in table, wall and pendant versions. The collection is intended for settings ranging from homes to offices. In Kirribilli, the paired placement beside the bed defines its role in the room.

Private residence in Randwick: Peggy

In the kitchen of a private residence in Randwick designed by Bondi Kitchens, Vistosi Peggy brings together contrasting materials. Polished white blown glass meets antique brass. The pendant balances the visual lightness of glass with a solid metal structure, making the light a defining element of the kitchen.
